【摘要】:ThispartofIEC62040appliestouninterruptiblepowersystems(UPS)withanelectricalenergystoragedeviceinthed.c.link.ItisusedwithIEC60950-1,whichisreferredtointhisstandardas"RD"(referencedocument).NOTEUPSapplicationsgenerallymakeuseofachemicalbatteryastheenergystoragedevice.Alternativedevicesmaybesuitable,andassuch,where“battery”appearsinthetextofthisstandard,whereapplicable,thismaybeunderstoodas“energystoragedevice”.Whenaclauseisreferredtobythephrase"Thedefinitionsortheprovisionsofitem/RDapply",thisphraseisintendedtomeanthatthedefinitionsorprovisionsinthatclauseofIEC60950-1apply,exceptanywhichareclearlyinapplicabletouninterruptiblepowersystems.NationalrequirementsadditionaltothoseinIEC60950-1applyandarefoundasnotesunderrelevantclausesoftheRD.TheprimaryfunctionoftheUPScoveredbythisstandardistoensurecontinuityofanalternatingpowersource.TheUPSmayalsoservetoimprovethequalityofthepowersourcebykeepingitwithinspecifiedcharacteristics.ThisstandardisapplicabletoUPSwhicharemovable,stationary,fixedorforbuilding-in,foruseinlow-voltagedistributionsystemsandintendedtobeinstalledinanyoperatoraccessibleareaorinrestrictedaccesslocationsasapplicable.Itspecifiesrequirementstoensuresafetyfortheoperatorandlaymanwhomaycomeintocontactwiththeequipmentand,wherespecificallystated,fortheserviceperson.ThisstandardisintendedtoensurethesafetyofinstalledUPS,bothasasingleUPSunitorasasystemofinterconnectedUPSunits,subjecttoinstalling,operatingandmaintainingtheUPSinthemannerprescribedbythemanufacturer.ThisstandarddoesnotcoverUPSbasedonrotatingmachines.Electromagneticcompatibility(EMC)requirementsanddefinitionsaregiveninIEC62040-2.
