【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistancetotheformationofpillsandothersurfacedistortionssuchasfuzzingoftextilefabrics.ThemethodutilizestheStollQuartermasterUniversalWearTesterwiththefrostingattachment.Theprocedureisgenerallyapplicabletoalltypesofwovenandknittedfabrics.Note18212;Forothercurrenttestmethodsoftestingthepillingresistanceoftextiles,refertoTestMethodsD3511,D3512,andD4970.1.2Thefabricmaybelaunderedordrycleanedbeforetesting.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
