【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesmethodsoftestforjointswithboltedflangesforplasticspipingsystemsofglass-reinforcedthermosettingplastics(GRP)forburiedandabovegroundpipelines.Thisstandardisonlyapplicabletothejointandcoversmethodsoftesttoproveitsdesign.Thistestprocedureisapplicabletojointsforpipesandfittingsofallnominalsizes.Thetestsdetailedin6.1,6.2,6.3,6.4,6.5and6.6inclusiveareapplicabletoboltedflangejointsintendedtobeusedinburiedorabove-groundapplications.NOTE1Theonlyintentionoftestingtheresistancetonegativepressureistogiveadequatesafetyagainstinfiltrationofpollutantsthroughthejointintothefluidcarriedinthepipingsystem.Underthesetestconditionspipeswithlowstiffnessesmayrequiresupporttopreventthemfrombuckling.NOTE2Thetestmethodsaredependentuponhavingadeclaredvalueforthebolttorquetobeusedforassemblingthejointsappropriateto,forexample,thedesignofthejoint,therelevantnominalpressureandthetemperatureoftest.Theresultsareonlyvalidforthetypeofflangedjointtested.Alltestsgiveninthisstandardareapplicableforevaluatingjointsintendedforapplicationsconveyingliquidsattemperaturesupto50℃andmaybeapplicabletojointsforuseathighertemperatures(seeclause2).
